In three years, nothing in this city has changed. The problems the city faces have not been solved. In fact, they seem to be getting worse. The policies and solutions we pursue are simply not working. It’s time for meaningful change.
What would that look like?
- Investment in infrastructure to put an end to flooding impacting our residents.
- Solutions to issues that actually address the root cause, and don’t create more problems.
- Recognition that irresponsible and unsustainable development is not a solution to the city’s problems, and in fact makes many problems worse.
- True engagement with the community, not lip service, so that city decisions reflect the will of the people and not just developers.
If we’ve learned anything over the last four years, it’s the importance that honest, competent leadership makes. We need to focus on actually solving the problems our city faces. This city is blessed with smart, thoughtful, and engaged residents who can help do so. I’d be honored to represent you and champion your desires and efforts to make Alexandria a wonderful city to be a part of.
